Current situation of Shahe glass industry

the glass industry is the traditional leading industry in our city, which began in the 1980s. Looking back on the development process of Shahe glass in recent 30 years, it has roughly experienced three stages, and now it has entered the fourth stage

1. Initial development stage (before 2000). By the end of 2000, there were more than 150 "small flat" production lines, which consumed more than half of the country's waste glass and produced 20million weight boxes of glass annually

2. Rectification and transformation stage ("the Tenth Five Year Plan period"). We began to completely eliminate the small flat glass and rectify and transform the entire glass industry. After five years of efforts, by the end of 2005, most glass production lines in our city had been upgraded, basically realizing the transformation from "small flat drawing" to lattice production process, and large lattice and floating production lines with more than "one kiln and two lines", whether SLS, SLA, DFM or other technical methods, had emerged. At the end of the tenth five year plan, the annual output of Shahe glass reached 60million weight boxes

3. The process is upgraded to make it become a loose structural segment from an aggregated state (during the "Eleventh Five Year Plan"). Since the "Eleventh Five Year Plan", our city has further adjusted the development ideas of the glass industry, from passively accepting the regulation of national industrial policies and passively coping with market changes to actively accelerating the pace of adjustment and actively adapting to market demand changes. In the past five years, a number of float glass production lines have been built successively, forming an industrial pattern dominated by float glass. At the same time, we have actively guided and promoted the development of the glass industry towards high-grade, multi variety and deep processing, and achieved major breakthroughs in industrial scale, industrial grade, product structure and technical level

4. Transformation and development stage ("the 12th Five Year Plan period"). Development ideas: take the optimization and upgrading of the glass industry as the "No. 1 project" of industrial development. On the basis of stabilizing the production capacity and improving the quality of float glass, according to the development mode of "specialization, differentiation, functionalization and recycling", vertically improve and extend the industrial chain, horizontally promote the cross-border development of the glass industry, and improve the integration of the glass industry with new energy, electronic information, advanced manufacturing and other emerging industries. Target positioning: to achieve "three transformations", but the elongation of materials is generally high, that is, to fully promote the transformation of the glass industry from low-end to high-end, from glass raw pieces to deep processing, and from ordinary building glass to energy-saving and safety, arts and crafts, advanced manufacturing and new energy source glass. Create "three centers", that is, strive to build Shahe into a glass R & D, cultural, exhibition center with great international influence

since the "12th Five Year Plan", Shahe has insisted on planning ahead, actively seeking change, constantly adjusting development ideas, strengthening work measures, and achieving major breakthroughs in the transformation and upgrading of the glass industry. It has been successively identified as a national new industrial industrialization demonstration base by the Ministry of industry and information technology, and one of the "1000" ten industrial bases by Hebei Province. Taking this as an opportunity, we have vigorously promoted scientific and technological innovation, vigorously eliminated backward production capacity, and launched a new batch of high-quality projects to promote the continuous upgrading of the glass industry

the global glass () department has even surpassed the United States, Britain and other developed countries
